About me
My heart is solidified in teaching and my focus remains with educators and students within classrooms each and every day. My personal mission is to help others expand their passion for teaching through building strong relationships with students, faculty and families; while highlighting the powerful influence school staffs have on young lives.
I received my Master of Education (Special Education) degree in the pursuit of regaining my own flair and commitment to students and educators alike. I am a previous school assistant principal and after 7 years have followed my heart back to the classroom. My current work is embedded in an elementary school as a grade one teacher.
I live in Calgary, Alberta with my husband, Brandon and our two active children. My time away from school is spent pacing hockey arenas as a goalie Mom, spectating from the stands at a lacrosse game, running, writing, boating and finding joy in the most unexpected of moments.
